You can use the test environment at any time, with no correspondence to us - it's freely available, for the purposes you've described below.

Okay Thanks... The reason I am asking, is because I am still waiting for my merchant account to go live. Once I have my merchant number, I will want to test it one more time to be safe.... Can we switch to the test environment without any problems. (I.e: Without calling you guys and having us re-registered in the test environment???)

If you've got the system configured to "Process Orders Immediately = NO", and you're using reg_system.cgi, then all you'll be doing is creating an order that won't go through.
 
However, we strongly suggest you use Horizon (OT&E) for all testing of the client code (etc) before you go live.

Hi All..
 
 Quick question...  I was wondering if their are any penalties for my attempting to test my system by applying for a domain name through my own site, and then in the OpenSRS live panel, canceling it. (I.e.: To periodically make sure all is well.....) I manually process my registrations, so the "Dummy" registration doesn't process until I Approve, or Cancel it.
