OpenSRS will not be starting with .pro extensions until the registry
actually informs us that they are launching a product.
I check on a daily basis to see the status of this gTLD and everyday see the
message "RegistryPro is currently in negotiations with ICANN" on their site.
The registry is approach its one year anniversary of being selected by ICANN
to operate the registry. I have heard rumblings that they may have to start
over in their proposal to ICANN - this likely means that the registry is a
while away from even entering a Sunrise - I would guess a minimum of 6
months...but thats just my opinion.
Don't be fooled by some of the registrars accepting pre-registrations.
