We've seen this problem and are trying to figure out what causes it - we find that it just goes away given a little bit of time. If you could send me the domain name (offlist if you wish) including the exact times (where possible) you got this error message we'll be better able to track down the cause.
Given that, I'll bet that if you try it again in a while it'll all work fine...
