Group 2: Group 2 domain names are those names for which there was either: (a) only one application and one or more IP Claims; or (b) multiple applications by the same applicant whether or not there is an IP Claim associated with the name. These domain names will be on Registry Reserve until November 19th, 2001. These names will not be available for live registration on November 7th, nor will they appear in the Whois database (www.whois.biz). In those cases where a domain name was registered by someone other than the IP Claimant, and an IP Claim has been submitted for that domain name, that IP Claimant may commence a STOP proceeding beginning on November 19th. As provided in the STOP Policy and Rules http://www.neulevel.biz/countdown/stop.html, the IP Claimant with the first priority right to challenge a domain name will have a period of twenty days from November 19th in which to file a STOP action.
Group 3: Group 3 domain names are those names for which there were multiple applicants. These domain names have been placed on "Registry Reserve" pending further legal review. These names will not appear in Whois, nor will they be available for live registration on November 7th. NeuLevel will provide additional information on the Group 3 domains in the coming weeks, and is making every effort to activate these domain names as soon as possible.
