Innerwise dba itsyourdomain.com I have received a very odd looking request:
" Since [EMAIL PROTECTED] was registered as the Administrative Contact for the domain(s), we are asking for your approval to transfer the domain. " directing me to a page where I am to input the code from the email. It has a Verisign Secure Site seal on the page (click to verify) that actually links to another page on *their own website* claiming the status is secure, etc...(shouldn't this link to the VeriSign db?) Most identifying info is removed as well (no Organization, state, locality) On top of that, we aren't admin contact either - if they're parsing OpenSRS Whois info, that's the first contact - reseller! Background and submit buttons on the page are my customers' - whose domains I am being asked to transfer. Of course, I will not approve it since I am not admin contact. I don't want to bother her/alert until I find out what's going on here. On the other hand, she may be an affiliate of them ... maybe these pages are an attempt to keep their identity as registrar hidden for the affiliate's benefit? Can anyone offer any insight? Jo Shea
