The process between order.html and verify.html should include a quick drop out to SRS to confirm fields, etc.
Although with .biz and things like phone number formats, are fairly easy to catch, trying to keep up with CIRAs daily changing policies on attributes and field definitions have made the registration process completely pooched. Of our registrations, we're seeing a 80% failure rate (thus talking to customer, apologizing, offering chickens, etc.) because of these issues... changing the HTML, building help files, etc. are not the answer. Erroring out based on real confirmation is the correct method (use process logic once, for many, versus replicating process logic 5000+ times among resellers...) I see a quick logic post check to the SRS servers somewhere in the mix here to confirm field attributes, PRIOR to painting the verify.html page. Doing the confirmation after the verify page is incorrect logic control IMO. Thoughts? Ideas? That would work perfectly (unless, of course 21% of your "members" reside outside Canada...)! Thanks, -kb -- Kris Benson ABC Communications +1 (250)612-5270 x14 +1 (888)235-1174 x14
