auDA AWARDS REGISTRY TENDER TO REGISTRARSASIA SUBSIDIARY
Melbourne, Australia, 12 December 2001 � auDA today announced that it has
awarded the tender for registry services in com.au, net.au, asn.au, id.au
and org.au to AusRegistry Pty Ltd, a subsidiary of RegistrarsAsia Pty Ltd.

auDA has licensed AusRegistry as registry operator for a four year period,
which commences at the conclusion of the test-bed process in early 2002.
The new registry will be the first country to utilise the EPP technical
interface protocol, used by the operators of the .info and .biz global Top
Level Domains.
