We had similar problems earlier this year when we switched from SSLv2 support to both SSLv2 and SSLv3
(default Apache w/mod_ssl supports both enabled) Try setting your CipherSuite to the following (!EXPORT56 is the important one that we changed) SSLCipherSuite ALL:!ADH:!EXPORT56:RC4+RSA:+HIGH:+MEDIUM:+LOW:+SSLv2:+EXP:+eNULL Most of the rest of the above values I believe are default.
