Dave,

OpenSRS does not currently support cancel/delete for the customer, but our
regular deletion policies are still in place (and being modified,
notification will come out on this).

Also, it does say that the form of authorization is at the descretion of
the registrar - BUT, EPP demands that a transfer request as the auth_code
as part of the transaction.  Without the auth_code, the transfer request
fails immediately.  And only the current (i.e. losing) registrar has
access to see the auth_code.
