Yep. I believe we had this happen... An AOL user account. But this could
have been an NSI/VeriSign tactic.

The customer had a domain up for renewal with NSI, 30 days prior he changed
his admin e-mail to a valid address and we generated a transfer request. He
did not get it. I sent a second request. Still "you don't got mail" then I
asked him for his NSI management login info because he swore he had a valid
e-mail but after 9 days a whois still had the invalid one listed. I then
logged into to VeriSign's domain user management system. It reflected the
changes.

After 20 days of this shit, the customer's domain expired.

Of course you know me, I always try to find the bright spot in every lousy
situation. It is one less customer to deal with!

Peace and Love incorporated,
Lars

Subject: Anyone having problems with transfer owner approval emails ?

I've a batch of domains pending on owner approval but no owner emails have
been received - one of the accounts is on our servers so I know the email
accounts work and nothing has come from opensrsr.
