Update on this: our client with their lawyer have contacted both Verisign and Eastcom Communications (the registrar with the faulty whois). Eastcom says we need to initiate transfer and since the whois is not properly maintained, we can contact them directly and they will assist -can I get OpenSRS to help do this, I assume it has to be done manually since an automatic transfer request would be cancelled immediately as the whois of Eastern Communicationsis not reachable?
