I'm not sure I'd get jazzed up over this. There is no direct profit in .edu domains, and it's likely to stay that way as it's controlled by the Commerce Dept. All .edu domains issued ot date have been free. All Educause can do in the future is charge a small fee to recover their costs, and only under direct approval by the Commerce Department. I don't think we're missing a large marketing opportunity here... -t
