I've gotten quite a few of these letters. I'm so used to ignoring junk mail that I barely even look at anything that says Verisign on it anymore...

Has anyone else's domain registration customers gotten letters in the US Mail from Verisign saying that they must hurry and renew the domain or risk loosing it? I have 3 of these letters from customers who domains we registered through OpenSRS and have never been held by NSI/Verisign at any point. In fact one customer renewed for 5 years with Verisign yet we (and OpenSRS) are still listed as who the domain is registered through. This customer called up very upset about how their website wasn't working etc. We went ahead and renewed it for a year until everything gets resolved. The thing that really pisses me off is that Verisign is sending out all these letters to our customers say if they don't renew right away with Verisign they could loose their domain which is crap. Anyone else getting these letters? Here is a copy of one of the letters that one of my customers got. http://www.igateway.net/verisign.jpg Let me know if anyone else has noticed a trend like this.
