I actually believe it's a cracker, wanting to get a bunch of people to reply
to that, so he/she can hijack the domains.
The reason I say that is they don't provide a domain to go to, but just
reply to the email to

That is very suspicious to me. Affiliates have links that give them their
payments for those using them,
After all on a $15.00 sale to Verisign, how much of that would the share?
probably at  the most $2.00
and I don't know of any affiliate that would do extra work, for a measly few
bucks. It would be much
easier to just give their link, and let Verisign do all the work, then
collect the few bucks.
I have never seen one say "Just email me your domains", how would they
collect their money? I don't
think that is legitimate. Crackers are pretty clever, and very intelligent.

I could be wrong, but sure sounds "funny" to me.
