I'm looking into this right now; afaik the client USED to prevent this, but introduction of several layered tlds (.ca, .uk) may have stopped this...

Will advise, might be a simple server side fix :)

Subject: Lookups on Subdomains?

Hello,

I appear to be able to do a lookup with the client code that returns results I would interpret as incorrect (or at least should yield an error).  For example, if you try a lookup (action=lookup) on 'www.mydomain.com', I get available results of: www.mydomain.com, www.mydomain.net, and www.mydomain.org.  However, I get different results with just 'mydomain.com'.  This appears to be only possible with com/net/org; I get an error trying the same thing on the other TLDs.  Just to be sure it wasn't just my implementation of the client code I have tried this on a few other reseller's sites and get the same result.  Is this behaviour by design? or is something operating incorrectly at either the client code, opensrs, or perhaps even the registry?  Just for the record I am running client code version 2.46.

Thanks,
