Hi Swerve, I think you might be missing something here. Out in BC, the phone book specifies this: Unsolicited Fax Calls ====================== Unsolicited fax calls for the purposes of solicitation are permitted with the following conditions: o The name, address, telephone number and fax number of the originator mus be identified, as well as the person on whose behalf the call is made. o Sequential dialing is not permitted. Customers can request to be removed from a fax calling list by contacting the originator. The originator has 7 days from the date of the request to comply. Requests remain active for three years. This pretty much goes along with what the CRTC says at: http://www.crtc.gc.ca/eng/faqs.htm#Q25 and http://www.crtc.gc.ca/eng/INFO_SHT/T22.HTM Whoever told you that spam faxing was legal is wrong. It has restrictions including DNC lists. -kb -- Kris Benson ABC Communications +1 (250)612-5270 x204 +1 (888)235-1174 x204
