The solution to this problem is to allow NSI to service their own customers via their own whois interface. You can still do checks and adds through our system without any problem - offering whois to various registrars essentially allows them to distribute their support costs to third parties without payment. Think twice about why a whois lookup for NSI hosted domains is important - I think you'll be surprised at the answers.
