Is it not in violation of "ICANN Rules & Regs" to disallow the
retrieval of WHOIS info for domains under a registrar?
Case in point, whois.parava.net :
unable to connect to whois.parava.net (111: Connection refused)
So, one cannot retrieve info on any domain registered via
"Parava.net", which seems to be a front for naame.com (new
registrations) and nicgenie.com (expiring domain services).
This is not the first time I've encountered this problem. Very
irritating...
