Fwiw we've located the problem and mostly solved the stats issue; you should have all of feb/02 (up to today, of course). We discovered a slight time problem with the two programs that generate these pages (one is running longer than it used to, so the other wasn't completing properly when trying to run). Due to the quirky nature of the timing, the normal alarm threshold for a cron run wasn't hit.
After the weekend I'll start seeing if I can't dig up pre-Dec/01 stats.
