If I understand correctly, your customer wants the certificate in her company's name but .ca rules force sole proprietors to register in their personal name. Therefore, strictly requiring that the name on the certificate match the Whois record prohibits your client from registering in her company's name. This might be tricky due to the Certification Practice Statement requirements however I know there is provision for Doing Business As verification.
