Got a quick one for ya all. When registering a host as a nameserver, is
it required that an A record be in place pointing the host name to the
IP address (eg: ns1.company.com --> 199.123.123.132) before it'll take
and does the reverse PTR record play a factor? Or is it only an active
responding nameserver at the IP address the only required?

Some enlightenment on this would be appreciated!

Sincerely,

Barry Kiesz
