No. I want glue records for my .uk nameservers under my .com/.net/.org
domains. Or the ability to point any number of nameserver names to the
same IP address.

Yes. I haven't seen anything that's said it's a bad idea other than for
nameservers you don't control, rather than in a TLD situation.
