Yes, we had a similar case - where we have a cancelled check for domain renewal - check cashed by VRSN on 2/28 and then VRSN expired the domain on 3/15
I would certainly recommend NOT accepting REFUND - do not do it!!!!! Instead shop attorneys - we have one putting together class action against VRSN http://www.nsihorrorstories.com I would sue - sincle Sclavos, VRSN prez cashed about 10.5 million in stocks on top of his 400+K salary last year- I would think they can spare some damage $$ as they have caused irreparable damage to your business Plus most likely you will be able to get your domain back on top of the damage award good luck Genie > ** Original Subject: RE: Verisign Screw-up > ** Original Sender: "POWERHOUSE" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > ** Original Date: Thu, 02 May 2002 14:06:46 -0700 > ** Original Message follows... > > From a legal point of view, if the domain was not suppose to expire until Sept of >this year, you > have them bent over a barrell.
