There was something on the Nominet-Tech mailing list about postcodes
recently. They first check against the regex someone posted recently
to make sure it looks right, then look it up in a Royal Mail database
of postcodes to check it actually exists. Nominet get a fresh copy of
the database every so often (every couple of months I think, but I
forget how long exactly) so it's sometimes a bit out of date. Also
the database sometimes contains errors or has omissions. As it's been
verified with the Royal Mail I guess it's the former in this case. If
Nominet still won't accept it I'd suggest contacting them directly at
[EMAIL PROTECTED]

Mark.
