BALTIMORE, Md., May 13 /PRNewswire/ -- BulkRegister, the fourth
largest domain name registrar, today filed a lawsuit against VeriSign
at the United States District Court for the District of Maryland. The
suit alleges VeriSign engaged in unfair practices with its recent
"Domain Name Expiration Notice" marketing campaign. As a result of
significant disruption in contractual relations with customers,
BulkRegister will be asking for a temporary restraining order and
injunction against VeriSign. A hearing on the matter is scheduled for
tomorrow at 10 a.m.

The lawsuit focuses on VeriSign's marketing campaign, which started on
or about April 25, 2002 and was sent to a significant universe of
domain name holders \
