I know this is shifting the topic a bit, but, Have you checked out ECHO yet?  http://echo-inc.com Seems like a pretty cool way of doing it. They have pre built open source objects to write your scripts around, and they are their own gateway, etc., so none of this *10 bills from 10 different companies* thing like if you're using one of the Authorize.Net incarnations. Plus, they're only $20 / month total. Just curious if you'd heard anything about them.
