Hi "T"

You must spend alot on lawyers! Even a call to an attorney will cost $150.

I find it best to push them myself first. All you really need to do in most
cases is write a certified letter (return receipt). Costs around $4.00 plus
your time. I belive most people pay serious attention to these "notices." And,
the first step is usually to give the other side a chance to cure the problem.

I'd still ask for dinner, Hugh.

I would certainly send them a direct correspondence rather than drag it
out in a public forum - perhaps you have done so and this is your last
resort - but it sounds like you have a problem you need to address face
to face.

If they did not respond and I was ripped enough, I'd call my attorney
and file a civil action against them. Generally this type of action is
not needed though - most people can work something out.

Have you thought about asking them to simply pay you for your work?
What's the value of these edited pages? It's not like you had to pay
someone to draft the original text - you say yourself that it's simply a
cleanup of the OpenSRS documents. What if they agreed to pay you $100
for your troubles?
