The customer might think that as long as they have the same username and password for their domains that they should be linked. That is not the case, I can have the same username/password on my domain and you would not be able to access my domain name unless you logged in with my domain name in the domain field. You have to use the Profile tools in the manage interface to link the domains to the same profile.
