I should have been clearer with this message - the point I was trying to
convey was that you may not always get what you bargain for when you
transfer a domain name to Tucows (I wish we had more say in the matter, but
alas.)

And as far as transfers away go, you don't seriously think that this occurs
in the real world, do you? ;)

My understanding of the policy is that this is not an issue with us as we
allow transfers to occur post-expiration, so the scenario will never occur.
