Today's addition of a page of fine print to the bottom of every whois query would seem to be a waste of bandwidth. Why not use a one-liner stating something like "Use of and access to this data is goverened by the Tucows Whois Access Policy at http://resellers.tucows.com/twap ?
I understand this policy is a good one, and it would appear to give OpenSRS the opportunity to take legal action against other registrars who solicit future registrations from RSPs' customers, but is it really necessary spew the entire text for each query? Is there some legal reason why an http reference might not be as binding? -- Paul Chvostek <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Operations / Abuse / Whatever +1 416 598-0000 it.canada - hosting and development http://www.it.ca/
