I just gave this a whirl with no problems.  So the server is sending
messages.

Are you hitting the live server?  Horizon does NOT send out emails (these
included).

Also, are you subscribed to any spam blacklisting service (like ORBz or
equivalent?) - occasionally we get listed (since people just don't
understand) and this can cause problems.

There are a variety of other factors that could prevent mail transport,
but I do know that mail's going (and I used a domain that delivers mail
non-locally to Tucows' network)
