This issue has been discussed time and time again in the archives.
Anyway...

All registries have a requirement that force "recognition" of a nameserver
host before allowing it to be associated with a domain.  Since the .name
registry is relatively new, it has a limited set of "recognized" hosts.

You can use the "Registry Nameservers" link at
http://resellers.opensrs.net - this will provide you a mechanism to
populate your nameserver at the .name registry

There's *got* to be a better solution to this... hrm...

<i.e. convince the registries that this is a silly requirement>
