In the last couple of days I've seen a number of messages come in with the subject "eNom, Inc.-$6.95 Domain Registrations" or equivalent. The messages came from different people (all with female names) all of whom claim to be eNom's "Director of Business Development".
Normally, when companies try to shove excrement down my throat like this I add their domain to a local block list and f'geddabawdem, but I hesitate to do this with a registrar, for fear of adverse effects for my customers (who may need renewal notices or other legitimate mail from the spammers). I've sent the requisite complaints to eNom and received the expected autoresponses, but I'd be curious to know whether others are seeing the same crap coming out of these clowns, and what steps people feel are appropriate for dealing with the situation. p -- Paul Chvostek <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Operations / Abuse / Whatever +1 416 598-0000 it.canada - hosting and development http://www.it.ca/
