Imo, You should do some preliminary research as you are doing on this list and on websites dedicated to trademarks and disputes,...
then talk to a good trademark lawyer who is hopefully familiar with cross-jurisdictional domain disputes. Have you talked to your customer directly? Off the top of my head, it sounds like they may be in violation. They will likely lose their affiliate status which might make their domain useless to them. It is possible your client doesn't understand what they've done. Is your client considering handing over the domain? good luck.
