I just checked availability on a .ca name at three differenct CIRA registrars and it shows available at all of them. Then I checked at three different OpenSRS RSPs and it shows taken at all of them. Now, I know that the domain was recently attempted to be registered, but the registration was not completed and timed out. Is this just an out of sync problem? Are we always the last to have a shot at names? I had thought lookups were real-time against the registry??
