Hi all,

As you may know, NSI rejects all registrar transfers that are less than
30 days away from expiry. However, I know that at least one domain owner
was able to get past this scam.

If you call NSI, 1-888-642-9675, and quote the NIC tracking number, they
will tell you that the 'no transfer' thing is part of your service
agreement.

It's not. The closest thing is Section A - #2 that says domains can't be
transferred after the anniversary date (Standard ICANN stuff)

Apparently, the trick is to stay on the line. Resist all attempts to get
you off the phone. It seems that they get in trouble if their call stats
get too high.

I just wanted to let everyone know that it is possible. Be persistent!
