I got curious and did a quick test. Godaddy is supressing contacting information from WHOIS when looked up via their competitors sites (try opensrs whois or network solutions whois for the domain godaddy.com for an example). This practice makes it more difficult to transfer domains *away* from godaddy. I really wonder why they fear their competitors so much.
