If I check on the ability to register a domain such as net.com, I get
the following error message:

Unexpected response received from the Registry: [556] [2306:Parameter
value policy error (DomainNameType:net.info, label reserved by ICANN)]

I'm just curious, what part of this is actually reported by the
registry?

Is it the error number 556?
The error number 2306?
The error text?

Why do I ask? Just because :).

In this case it looks interesting because the text reads
"DomainNameType:net.info" where I looked up net.com. It answers this
same way for net.biz and net.info domains as well.
