This domain was deleted on Jun 13th, 40 days after expiration, and was re-registered the same day by another registrar. OpenSRS system was reporting in next few days that domain is not available, because it was not, it was registered shortly after being dropped. Now, when you queried whois server of registry, you could not have seen this domain because theirs whois is not real-time.
That has probably given you impression that our system is somehow hiding this domain, which is not true. Our system uses very straight-forward rules. We give chance to our original customer to renew domain up to 40 days after expiration. If this is not done, domain gets deleted from both our system and registry, at which point it can get picked-up by anyone. Since this is happening during the night, you have to be pretty dedicated in monitoring such domain, in order to have any chance of getting it. Regards, Zeljko Dimic, OpenSRS Developer.
