Subject: V-Sign and ICANN ??

Didn't know if you guys had seen this yet from Hosting Techs newsletter ;o)

We're not in Kansas anymore
ICANN is threatening to revoke permission for VeriSign to sell ".com" domain names as a result of inaccurate records. VeriSign has been cited with 17 violations in the past 18 months, persistently failing to clean-up its "Whois" database. ICANN has given VeriSign 15 working days to clean up the database. One egregious violation cited by ICANN involves an entry for one domain name that was apparently registered by "Toto," with an address of "the Yellow Brick Road, Oz, KS."
