Presuming that Afilias gets the bid as per the recent recommendation, we
are not expecting much to change in the way of pricing, policy or
performance. The details that they outline in their bid are reasonably
close enough to the status quo that there are not many worries. If they
are unable to arrive at a contract with ICANN, this might present
problems however as it stands, we are expecting a relatively smooth
transition.
You can definitely expect more details from TomK as he works through the
transition plan through January 1/03. Needless to say, we will be
keeping our channel as informed as possible about this important event.
