We register our domains THROUGH he RWI. How do you propose I capture the data other than printing it? Have I missed something here?Why all the fuss? Why not just capture the data as you register the domain? If you want to update your printed information from time to time, do as you say, use your unix command line whois.
Using the RWI is much easier a I can seacrh domains, get a linked list, click, print. Just that easy. Plus, a whois does not contain any OpenSRS specific data regarding the domain, which we may want, but NOT at the top of the page and taking up the whole page.
No you don't get it. The page is so horribly formatted now, that I prefer no formatting at all. NetSol, Internic.ca, GoDaddy et al, all have beautiful pages. How much do you think they spent on the design, GUI, and useabilty. $10k, $20k, $100k. How much do think OpenSRS spent on theirs?Please, do not format any of the text (other than <bold> ). You are in the domain registry business, not the web site design business.That is funny. So only those organizations in the web site design business should have nicely designed sites. Got it.
If OpenSRS has to spend anything on the GUI for the resellers, then that cost will likely have to be passed on to us. I prefer them spent there resources on function, not form.
