Well, I talked to technical support half an hour ago and was adamantly
told that there was likely nothing wrong and that the problem was likely
due to mail filtering on the client end.

I know patently that the problem is NOT on the client end, since no
messages to three different domains at three different ISPs in different
cities were coming through.

However, just a few minutes ago I received a couple of the expected
messages.  The message body was different from how I had altered it
earlier this morning in the admin interface, though, and one of them came
through to a different admin contact address (which I had subsequently
modified this morning in trying to troubleshoot the problem).  So it
seems like the cron job is about ten hours behind...

I'd be interested if anyone else gets timely results from such a send-
password request.
