What a crock!! What they will do to make some ca$h!!!!!!!!!!!!
They will make hundreds upon thousands to sell the name to some one else and your posting the name just help (Even though it should NOT!!!)  This world is falling apart beneath our eyes!!!!  Maybe we should start renewing EVERY DOMAIN that is expiring and change the NS info to a "Expired or Renewal Page" but my ethics are much better than that. If they don't stop this crap, it's time for us "low-life's" to jump in!

A domain name must be in the TotalNIC ICANN system for at least 150 days

after any monetary transaction before a transfer can be allowed. As per your

service agreement with us, if the domain name is within 30 days of the

expiration date, or if the domain name is in an expired status, a renewal

will be required.

If the domain name meets these requirements, please have the listed

registrant fill out completely and submit the attached form as per the

instructions on the form. As part of our security, we need to confirm that

the registrant is making the request. To do this, we need authorization from

the listed registrant.

Hello,

Totalnic Saga story again.
See: http://www.opensrs.org/archives/discuss-list/0210/0123.html
And then..

Since Sunday, the website is disconnected with a totalnic message telling that the domain names was expired !
http://www.hepweb.net

Domain Expired The URL (website) you have requested is associated with a domain name registered with TotalNIC, the original half-price registration service. Unfortunately the domain has expired or is subject to a billing dispute. If this is your domain please click here to renew your domain.
If you know the operator of this website or you need further information please contact [EMAIL PROTECTED] urgently.
At this stage this domain is not available for re-issue to interested parties however you may register your domain with TotalNIC by clicking here

My client had to pay to renew the domain (which will really expire only on 2003-03-24) , then the DNS changed and the website is still offline with the message telling that it is unpaid!

Terrible!
