For the record, UT refers to a time scale called "Coordinated Universal Time" (abbreviated UTC), and not "Universal Time Coordinated"
http://aa.usno.navy.mil/faq/docs/UT.html UT, or UTC is often referred to as GMT, which is EST plus 5 hours.
