WHOIS for .org

Is there a WHOIS server for .org now that whois.crsnic.net is no longer referring .org domains?

If not (and it appears to be the case at the moment that there is none, the pir.org site says one will be put in place, but gives no details as to when), does anyone know when it will go live?
