Well, needless to say we were shocked to see that our name have been hijacked, without any notification whatsoever to us, and presumably none to OpenSRS since they still had it in our account, and had sent renewal reminders to us. We contacted OpenSRS support, and told them the sorry story, and asked them to get the name back from Verisign. Foolishly, as it turns out, we assumed that having clear evidence of our original registration and no evidence of a transfer request, they would go out of their way to correct this obvious error and get the name back where it belonged ASAP.
