Hi,

I have recentally decided to start accepting .cc registrations, so last night
I duly faxed off my agreement, and got confirmation this morning informing me
to post the relevent agreements on my web page before I can go live.

Now, I read though the .cc agreement
(http://resellers.tucows.com/opensrs/cc/cc_exhibit_a), and it pointed me to
the http://www.nic.cc web page. So I visit that and am taken to enic.cc - a
Versign company where I find out that they are selling .cc domains retail for
$30, and even have a buy one get one free offer going (until 15 July).

Now I am not trying to start another pricing debate, but if everyone who is
thinking of registering a .cc domain on my site reviews the agreement like a
good citizen, then they find a competing company who is offering the same
service but for less, I will probably loose some of them. Since I have to
post this agreement, and they are supposed to read it - what can I do? Not
only am I advertising the competition on my own site, but I am actually
forcing my users to visit their site!

On comparison to the .com/.net agreement, there are only ICANN links which I
think are pretty safe. So what is the deal?

Cheers,

Will.
