When a UK domain is renewed, the domain shows the new expiry when viewed from https://rr-n1-tor.opensrs.net/resellers/index.cgi?action=view_domain&name=*. uk type page. Although there is explanatory text which details that the "Renewal has been applied" the Expiration Date shows in the same location on the page as other TLDs (important so that we can scrape the info with our sslbots), the key on this page is that the "Expiration Date" at the top of the page shows the post-renewal expiry...
However, if you do a search on your domains through one of the URLs like this: https://rr-n1-tor.opensrs.net/resellers/index.cgi?action=view_domains&name=* .uk&deleted=0 the expiration date shown is the _pre-renewal_ expiry date. This is inconsistent behavior; the date shown needs to be the post-renewal expiry date. If you are using the Search Domains feature to roll your own renewal system (by parsing the expiry date from these pages), this explains why you would have sent a renewal notice to an already renewed UK domain... -- John Keegan [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://RackShare.com
