Geotrust supports IIS
6.
They
have updated their webserver list to not be version dependent (but they will
accept old entries if submitted)
Then
it makes the list much less
likely to change.
So,
IIS is accurate.
And btw. this webserver list is used for support
purposes only (not cert generation) so if you get caught in a situation that
means you can't submit the webserver type you
would like, choose other, and it will still be successful.
This list is to help with support requests
they may receive from you.
As far as the tar.gz question, I'll ask dev to confirm, but
from what I remember in the past, that is
correct.
